We are delighted to have two grants available to attend our Annual Scientific Meeting. We have 25 scholarships available annually for Members and this year we have introduced five Undergraduate ASM Scholarships. You can read the criteria for each grant below.

  

BSH Members Scholarship

Available exclusively to BSH Members, this scholarship to the BSH Annual Scientific Meeting can cover registration, travel and accommodation costs.

To support   

Attendance at the British Society for Haematology Annual Scientific Meeting

Maximum amount  

Up to £750 to support registration, travel and accommodation

     
Eligibility criteria  

All members who have been a BSH member for at least one year are entitled to submit an application and will be eligible for funding to attend one Annual Scientific Meeting per three-year period 

Applications are particularly welcome from those Members who are Clinical Scientists, Biomedical Scientists, Academic Scientists, PhD students and Nurse Practitioners who have been a member for at least one year

Deadline  

The deadline for applications to attend the 2017 Annual Scientific Meeting is 3rd February 2017

Number of grants available per year  

25 Scholarships are be available annually for members

Applications are competitively assessed and priority will be given to those Members who are presenting work at the meeting or in training

Undergraduate ASM Scholarship

Medical students who are enrolled on a recognised undergraduate medical degree can apply for upto £500 to attend our Annual Scientific Meeting.

To support    Attendance at the British Society for Haematology Annual Scientific Meeting
     
Maximum amount   Up to £500 to support registration, travel and accommodation
      
Eligibility criteria   The applicant must be an undergraduate resident in the UK
     
Application details   Applications should include a letter of support from the Head of Department or Clinical Tutor
     
Sponsorship   Each applicant should be sponsored by a fully paid-up member of the British Society for Haematology.  This member should indicate their support by emailing grants@b-s-h.org.uk
     
Deadline   The deadline for applications is 3rd February 2017
     
Number of grants available   5 scholarships will be available for 2017
