Next year's Annual Scientific Meeting of the British Society for Haematology will be held in Glasgow 18-21 April


bsh This is the home of the British Society for Haematology (BSH).

It is the main haematology society in the United Kingdom with about 1800 members.

The objectives of the Society are to advance the practice and study of haematology and to facilitate contact between persons interested in haematology.


members There are various types of BSH membership available.


  • BCSH Taskforce The Haemostasis and Thrombosis Task Force of the British Committee for Standards in Haematology (BCSH) requires two new members. The appointments are for 3 years in the first instance Applications are requested from consultant haematologists or clinical scientists involved in Haemostasis and Thrombosis and working in a UK hospital that would interested in joining this Task Force.
  • Read the Report: LMIC workshop 13 February 2015 You can now read the report of our workshop held in February. It was a stimulating and productive day. The Trustees will consider the report at their June Meeting.
