THE 3RD BI-ANNUAL BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT STUDY DAY, reviewing the management of BMT complications.
The day will cover the key complications following BMT including Veno-occlusive disease, Graft-vs.-Host disease and post-transplant infections. This day will also look at the new novel therapies using CAR-T cells.
The day aims to:
- Inspire delegates to act as clinical champions, raising the expertise of managing post-transplant complications in their working environment
- Increase understanding of the impact of post-transplant complications and how to support patients & families during this period of uncertainty
- Gain understanding of how to implement individualised care planning including shared decision making in clinical practice
On the day, the programme will be a mixture of locally and nationally based speakers including Dr Maria Gilleece, Dr Christopher Parrish, Dr Suzy O’Neill, Suzanne Liebersbach, Dr Beki James and Dr Reuben Benjamin
