There are various types of membership available.
BSH Student Elective Scholarships
To support: UK-based undergraduates undertaking electives in the field of haematology.
Maximum amount: £600.
Eligibility: The applicant must be an undergraduate resident in the UK.
Application details: Applications should include details of the project, approximate costs involved, brief curriculum vitae, a letter of support from the Dean or Clinical Tutor and a letter from the person supervising the project at the host institution.
Deadline: No deadline, but please apply well in advance of your elective start date to allow for the trustees to make their decision in time.
Number of grants available per year: unlimited.
Sponsorship: Each applicant should be sponsored by a fully paid-up member of the British Society for Haematology. This member should indicate their support by emailing Daphne Harvey at daphne.harvey@b-s-h.org.uk.
Afterwards: A copy of the Elective report is required within eight weeks of completion of the elective.
