Survey for European NEtwork for Rare and Congenital Anaemias
Under the auspices of ENERCA http://www.enerca.org, a network co-funded by the European Commission through its Public Health and Consumer Protection Directorate(DG SANCO), PHEA programme, we would like to invite you to participate in a European survey regarding patients with rare anaemias.
With the view to improving the service offered to patients with rare anaemias, one of the major objectives of this survey is to map the existing centres that provide care for these patients throughout Europe. Another goal is to obtain a directory of facilities available per centre for these patients. The survey aims to provide an overview of the current situation but is not initiating a trial. This inventory will allow the formation of new networks, an exchange between centres within a country and also between European countries. A rare disease in one European country may be more frequent in another. Envisaged outcomes would be the sharing of expertise and the initiation of collaborations.
As the survey is composed of two sections, ie clinical and laboratory, only one part may be applicable and hence complete the sections that are relevant. The closing date for submission is 31st March 2011.
On completion of the survey, all participants will receive a report on the results and the ENERCA website will list all centres. Any publication on the ENERCA website or via any other medium will not be made without prior consent.
