We welcome new members to the Society.  Please take time to view the various membership options.

Benefits of membership include access to the British Journal of Haematology, discounted registration at our annual conference, support for ACCEA applications, eligibility for several grants and eligibility to vote and stand for election as a trustee.

Applicants for membership must be engaged in the practice or study of haematology.  Membership is selective and you may not be successful in your application.  To apply for membership you must fill in an application form (found within the options below) and send it to us both online and hard copy.  You will hear the result of your application after the next trustee meeting, which is every quarter.

Student affiliateship - DISCONTINUED

This category of free affiliateship for students has been discontinued.  If you wish to be kept informed of student education days run by the BSH please either follow us on Twitter or "like" our Facebook page, both of which will give details of forthcoming events for students.

Developing World Membership

**NEW**  This includes access to the British Journal of Haematology both hard copy and online. Annual subscription fee is £70.

This membership type is available only to those in Africa and Asia and precludes access to member-only grants.  It is an option, not a restriction, ie prospective members in these countries are welcome to apply for other types of membership if they prefer.

Instead of having their form signed by a current member, applicants may send us a CV.
