BSH support for Clinical Excellence Award applications
Specialist Societies have recently been advised by the ACCEA to put in place plans to support members in applications for National Awards in England and Wales in 2013 although at the time of writing there has been no formal announcement that a new award round will take place this year.
New online haematology education project launched
An online haematology education project has recently been launched by TeamHaem, a group of SpRs in the Northern Deanery with consultant support, as a forum to expand interest, educate, share and discuss. It is a twice-monthly discussion forum in which a case is posted on a blog and then discussed via Twitter, with new pieces of information pertaining to the case being released as the discussion develops.
